Vaccinations—Part 1

Dr. Morgan (standing) monitors team members preparing vaccination syringes. Thousands of vaccinations were given, over a three day period. Due to the lack of proper refrigeration the vaccines had to be prepared and given within a few days. In the morning the syringes were prepared, and in the afternoon the vaccinations given.

Jim administering oral polio vaccine. It looks like I've been in Sudan for a week, but it's only been 24 hours. Temperature is 100+ degrees with significant humidity.




When's the last time you saw kids smiling while waiting to get an injection (from Keith). They understand that this is going to help them not get diseases.
