Rebecca is a gorgeous young lady who was shot by the government forces when they invaded her village. Her mother was killed in the attack. About four inches of her right shin bone was missing due to the gunshot wound. You can see the hand made wooden crutch she must use to walk. If she can be evacuated into Kenya, they will try to do a bone graft, however the doctor says there may not be enough bone left for it to be successful and that she may lose her right leg. She has a captivating shy smile, that just makes you want to take her up in your arms and rescue her from these circumstances she lives in.
